DMCA Disclaimer

Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) Compliance:
YouCine respects the intellectual property rights of others and is committed to complying with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and other applicable copyright laws. As an online service provider, we act in good faith to ensure that the content on our website respects copyrights. If copyrighted material appears on our site, we intend for it to be used under fair use or with permission. We do not intend to host or knowingly promote pirated content.

Third-Party Content Sources:
YouCine does not host copyrighted videos, movies, or media files on our own servers. All media content (such as movie streams, TV shows, or live sports events) accessible through our website is indexed or embedded from third-party websites or platforms. This means that when you view or access content through YouCine, the content may originate from external sources over which we have no control. We act as an aggregator or directory that directs users to content that is already publicly available on the internet. Because this content is provided by third parties, YouCine cannot guarantee the legality or ownership of this content at all times. However, we do not intend to facilitate copyright infringement. If we discover (or are notified) that a link or embedded content on our site infringes someone’s copyright, we will immediately remove that content or disable access to it.

No Piracy Intent:
All content on YouCine is provided for information and entertainment purposes only. We do not charge for access to these media links and do not encourage anyone to misuse the content. We strongly discourage piracy and encourage all users to support content creators by using legitimate services whenever possible. All copyrighted material appearing on our site is not hosted by us and is provided for informational purposes only (for example, to show you how to access the material through official or legal means). If unauthorized or infringing material is found on our pages, it is unintentional and will be removed as soon as it is brought to our attention.

Procedures for Copyright Holders (DMCA Takedown Requests):
If you are a copyright holder or their agent and believe that material on YouCine infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA takedown request to request removal of the allegedly infringing material or block access to it. To be effective, your request must be submitted in writing and include the following information (pursuant to 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)):

Identification of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed. (For example, the title of the movie or TV show, and a brief description if necessary.)

Identification of the material on our website that you claim is infringing and that you request us to remove or disable. Please provide a URL link to the specific section of our site where the material is located so we can quickly locate it.

Your contact information, including your full name, affiliation (if applicable), mailing address, telephone number, and a valid email address, so we can contact you about your complaint.

A statement by you that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner’s behalf.

Your electronic or physical signature (this can be your full typed name at the end of your notice if submitted by email, or your signature if sent by mail).

Please send your DMCA compliance notice to our designated copyright agent at: [Email: info@theyoucine.com]. Use the subject line “DMCA Takedown Request” for clarity. You may also send physical mail if necessary; please contact us via email to request a mailing address for DMCA notices.
Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice, we will:

1.Review the Request: We will verify the information provided and the legitimacy of the request.

2.Remove or Disable Content: If the request meets the DMCA requirements, we will promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material on our site.

3.Notify the User (if applicable): Since users currently do not upload content to YouCine (we ourselves index content), typically there may not be a “user” to notify. However, if the content was somehow user-provided or if there is relevant identifying information, we will notify the party who posted the content that it has been removed or disabled due to a DMCA complaint.

4.Repeat Infringement Policy: Although users do not post content on our platform at this time, we take copyright seriously. If in the future users are allowed to contribute and a user is found to be a repeat infringer, we will terminate that user’s access or account in accordance with the DMCA’s repeat infringer policy.

Good Faith and Misrepresentations: Please note that under the DMCA, anyone who knowingly makes false claims in a takedown notice (or counter-notice) may be liable for damages. If you are not sure whether the material on our site infringes your copyright, you may wish to seek legal guidance before submitting a notice. We will treat all takedown requests seriously, and any fraudulent or bad-faith claims may be referred to legal authorities.

Counter-Notification: If you are a content provider (or the owner of an affected link) and you believe that material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you have the right to send us a counter-notification. A counter-notice should also comply with the requirements of the DMCA (17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3)). It must include your contact information, identification of the removed content and its location, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court in your area (if you are in the U.S.) or to an appropriate judicial body if outside the U.S. If we receive a valid counter-notification, we may restore the material in question after a review, unless the original complaining party informs us they have filed a court action to restrain the alleged infringement. (We will forward any counter-notice to the party who filed the original DMCA claim, as required by law.)

Important: YouCine is based outside the United States, but we voluntarily comply with the DMCA’s notice-and-takedown procedure as an internationally recognized standard for copyright protection. Copyright laws may vary by country; if you are a copyright owner outside the U.S., you can still use the above DMCA procedure to notify us of alleged infringement, or contact us with a clear explanation of your rights under your local law. We will respond to credible copyright complaints regardless of origin.

Contact Information for DMCA Agent:

Email: info@theyoucine.com

Subject Line: DMCA Takedown Request – [Your Content Name]

(If physical correspondence is required, please email us to request our mailing address for the attention of “DMCA Agent”.)

YouCine will make a good-faith effort to investigate each notice and take appropriate action expeditiously. Removal of content or disabling of links in response to a DMCA notice is done out of an abundance of caution for copyright compliance and does not imply that YouCine is admitting any legal responsibility for the alleged infringement. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in upholding copyright laws.

No Legal Advice: This DMCA Disclaimer is provided for informational purposes and to outline our policies. It is not legal advice. If you have questions about your rights or about the DMCA process, consider seeking independent legal counsel.
